Terms and Agreements

Effective date: 18 August 2026

These terms govern access to and use of PeerSlot. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

PeerSlot is a scheduling tool that lets providers publish availability, manage clients and recurring or one-time sessions, receive appointment requests, and accept, decline, edit, or cancel bookings. PeerSlot does not itself provide teaching, counselling, healthcare, or other professional services and is not a party to the underlying relationship between a provider and a client.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you use PeerSlot for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. Minors may use the service only with the authorization and supervision required by applicable law. You must provide accurate information, keep account credentials secure, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.

3. Provider responsibilities

  • Keep availability, time zone, duration, rest time, notice periods, client records, and appointment information accurate.
  • Obtain any consent or other lawful basis needed to add client names, email addresses, comments, or other personal information.
  • Review pending appointment requests and communicate material schedule changes to affected clients.
  • Use appropriate professional judgment. PeerSlot availability and notifications do not replace your own calendar checks, emergency procedures, or record-keeping duties.
  • Protect public booking links and regenerate a link if you believe it is compromised or shared too broadly.

4. Bookings and schedule changes

A request is not confirmed until the provider accepts it. Availability can change before confirmation, and providers may decline, edit, or cancel appointments and recurring series. Rest periods may make time unavailable without appearing as separate public bookings. Users are responsible for checking the displayed time zone and appointment status. PeerSlot is not responsible for missed sessions, provider decisions, or disputes between users.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse PeerSlot or help anyone else do so.

  • Do not break the law, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, harass others, impersonate anyone, or submit information you are not authorized to use.
  • Do not probe or bypass security, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, scrape at unreasonable volume, evade rate limits, or access another user's account or non-public data.
  • Do not use PeerSlot for emergency services, unlawful discrimination, or decisions where the service is not designed to meet applicable professional or regulatory requirements.

6. Availability and changes

PeerSlot is provided on an as-available basis. We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may correct scheduling or display errors. We aim to provide reliable notices, but email delivery and uninterrupted access are not guaranteed. You should retain any records you are legally or professionally required to keep.

7. Intellectual property and feedback

PeerSlot and its software, design, branding, and content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service in accordance with these terms. You retain rights in information you submit and grant us permission to host, process, display, and transmit it only as needed to operate and improve the service. We may use feedback without restriction or payment.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using PeerSlot at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, address unlawful or abusive conduct, or enforce these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, PeerSlot is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free scheduling. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data or opportunity, or conduct between providers and clients. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. General terms and contact

We may update these terms and will post the revised terms with a new effective date. Continued use after they take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Applicable law and courts will be determined by mandatory law and, once PeerSlot's operating entity and jurisdiction are formally established, this section should be updated before commercial launch. Questions may be sent to legal@peerslot.com.
